MD Graduated in Medicine at the State University of Milan in 1988. Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. She specialized in Anaesthesia and Reanimation in the State University of Milan in 1992. In 1994 she participated as a speaker at the 13th ESRA (European Society Regional Anaesthesia) Congress in Barcelona with the communication: “Intraoperative analgesia with electroacupuncture: an alternative to general anaesthesia?”. In 1997 she was hired at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas (MI) in the service of General Anaesthesia and Intensive Care with the status of Assistant. In 1998 he became aide of the aforementioned service. Since 2001 he has been the Head of the Surgical Day Hospital of the Institute. Lecturer in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1998. Teacher of So Wen School Milan. Accredited teacher of acupuncture in the WHO Collaborating Centre of Milan. Author / co-author of the following publications: “Main and Secondary Meridians – Paths and Acupoints”, So Wen, Milan 1999 – “Foundations of Acupuncture”, So Wen, Milan 2003. 25 papers published in indexed journals, including 4 treating acupuncture in anaesthesiology.
