Expert practitioner in acupuncture, traditional, complementary and integrative medicine, he is a contract professor at the State University of Milan. For the same University, he is also didactic coordinator for the Specialising Course in Acupuncture.
Vice-Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine, he is a Member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional Medicine.
He is a researcher in Acupuncture, Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine with several publications.
Vice-President of the Italian Society of Acupuncture (S.I.A.), of Centro Studi So Wen ETS, and of the Italian-Chinese Medical Association (A.M.I.C.). He is a member of the Commission on Nonconventional Medicine of the Medical Doctors Association of Milan.
